My hosting server has just informed me that Drupal 6 is available - time to go play!

Looks like the Installatron guys have done a great job in automating the upgrade. There are some nice new modules to play with too!

We have been proving web hosting service under our "spellings.net" brand since 1998, and have more recently launched the PurleyHosting brand with lower prices and more features

The AAUG.net move to a subscription email service is being brough forwardard by two weeks.

Existing customers who have paid their £5 subscriptions will now have their SPAM filtering activated on 16th April and not 1st May as originally indicated.

We will be contacting all existing AAUG.net members of the next week with a final reminder about the closure of the free service.

Now all our hosting services have moved to PurleyHosting brand, the main spellings.net site was due for a major overhaul. So, what to do about it?

Well, I didn't want to go down the previous road of developing the site from scratch. I want to be able to easily update the site (from anywhere) whilst also providing extra features such as blog entries (like the one you are reading now), link pages, comments etc
